Plymouth Grows with a New SHE Advisor

With Marlin operating in a high-risk, multi-million-pound industry, with sophisticated equipment and chemicals, the health and safety of our team, partners and environment is paramount.

With our internal health and safety team always keeping us and our partners safe, we would like to welcome Andrew Baker as our SHE Advisor for Plymouth.

Andrew has recently joined us this August and brings with him over 15 years’ experience within health and safety after a varied career in the Royal Navy as a Survival Equipment Technician. With his extensive knowledge he will be supporting Robert Bridger our SHEQ and Training Manager and Patrick Collins our SHEQ and Training Advisor. Andrew will be based at our Plymouth site, as well as working closely with our head office in Chichester and our Portsmouth site.

Andrew is pleased to be working with Marlin as he says “I am delighted to be joining Marlin after a varied career in the Royal Navy as a Survival Equipment Technician, after many years performing Health & Safety within my job roles I finally took the plunge into the world of NEBOSH. I am excited to be joining such a professional, friendly family orientated company, I can’t wait to get stuck in to what I hope will be another rewarding long lasting career.

Outside of work you will find me at home spending time with my wife and kids or socialising with friends in and around Plymouth.”
